Inherited Colorectal Cancer Syndromes: Updates On Evaluation And Management

Sonia S. Kupfer, MD provides an update on the evaluation and management of inherited colorectal cancer syndromes. Throughout her presentation, Dr. Kupfer looks at recognizing the clinical characteristics of hereditary colorectal cancer syndromes, including:

  • Understanding implementation of tumor testing for Lynch syndrome;
  • Multi-gene panel testing for colorectal cancer.

She also provides data rates on the prevelance and identifiable factors of colorectal cancer, and gives an overview on various testing methodologies and their findings.
