Karin Vander Ploeg Booth, MD
Assistant Professor of Pediatrics
Karin Vander Ploeg Booth, MD, is a pediatrician who works with children and adolescents experiencing a wide range of behavioral and developmental issues, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and learning disabilities. Dr. Vander Ploeg Booth also provides developmental evaluations for children adopted from overseas. As part of the Adoption Center's multidisciplinary team, she helps adoptive families ease the transition to a new home. In addition to her clinical roles, Dr. Vander Ploeg Booth is an active researcher and educator. She currently works as part of the American Academy of Pediatrics Autism Advocacy Initiative to support children and families affected by an autism spectrum disorder.
