Chief, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility

Helen Kim, MD, is an expert in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She specializes in the treatment of infertility using assisted reproductive technologies, including in vitro fertilization and third party reproduction. Additionally, she is committed to helping lesbians, gay men and single women build families through the use of assisted reproduction with sperm donors, egg donors and gestational carriers. Dr. Kim also treats menstrual disorders, such as premature ovarian failure, polycystic ovary syndrome and abnormal loss of menstrual cycles.

Dr. Kim was trained in the Reproductive Scientist Development Program and is a faculty member in the Committee on Molecular Metabolism and Nutrition. Her work has received funding from prominent organizations including the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Kim, teaches reproductive endocrinology in the medical school and college. She is a peer reviewer for Fertility and Sterility and serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.
